The next 3 rows are done using the diamond stitch here is a website showing how to do that with pictures in case reading the pattern is too confusing. https://nordichook.com/the-diamond-stitch/
Rnd 25 – fptr in second hdc from Row 23, skip the first st from this Row, sc in next 2, *fptr2tog (1st tr goes in the same as the first fptr, 2nd tr will go in third hdc stitch from there), sk st behind post, sc in next 2* repeat until reaching end of round, fptr in same post as the one before (but do not finish pulling through last two loops on hook, instead insert hook around the first fptr of the round, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook), ch2 then turn work
Rnd 26 – dc across, ch1 then turn work
Rnd 27 – sc in first two st, fptr2tog (first post being in the fptr from before, second post being in the next fptr2tog from before), *sk st behind post, sc in next 2, fptr2tog* repeat ** until end (the last fptr2tog will include a fptr2tog from before and the connected starter and final fptr from below), sl st to first sc of the row, ch1 then turn work
Rnd 28 – hdc across, sl st to first then fasten off

Rnd 1 – foundation hdc enough to go around your waist however tight or loose you want making sure its an even number. For me that was 166. Sl st to first making sure its not twisted

Repeat round 4 until it is the desired length for me this was 35 rounds repeating row 4 for a total of 39 rounds. You will judge this by putting the top of your work near where the bottom of a sleeve on another shirt sits and seeing where the bottom sits. I compared mine to a shirt that I like the length of.
